NEWCROSS Exploration & Production Limited employed Ankor Pointe Integrated Limited as part of a consortium to manage crude produced from OML 24 (Ekulama 1 and Ekulama 2 Flow Stations) to eliminate crude losses through the existing pipelines.
Ankor Pointe is to provide crude dehydration barges to separate water from the crude and prepare the produced water for better discharge through the consortium.
The integration and testing of the process units on the barge, as well as the construction of 3-string pipelines to shuttle the crude to & from the LACT unit, was subcontracted to MJD Oilfield Services Limited.
The MJD Scope are not limited to the following:
- Installation of the Test and Production Separators
- Installation of the Knock-out vessel
- Crude and water retaining tanks erection
- Integration of the system through piping connections
- Precommissioning & commissioning support.
- Construction of 8” x 500mtrs (3 – string) pipelines from LACT unit to the Process Barge
- Construction & Testing of the 6” x 300mtrs flare line.
EXECUTION STRATEGY
- Vessel’s installation Shop fabrication & testing of most interconnecting spools
- Site integration and tie-in.
- Field construction of the 8” pipelines.
