Why MJD
Work that leaves a record
MJD runs its own construction spread and its own crews. Nothing is subcontracted out from under you, which means the work you do here carries your name on it — and the project records on this site are the proof of that.
Our people work across onshore, swamp and offshore terrain on assets owned by the operators who produce Nigeria’s oil and gas. The scopes are technical, the standards are audited, and the engineering is done in-house rather than bought in.
How we work
The commitments you would be joining
- Integrity
- We report what we found, not what is convenient. Every assessment, weld log and inspection record stands up to audit.
- Innovation
- Precision technology applied to hard problems — intelligent pigging, long-range ultrasonics, trenchless crossings.
- Safety
- ISO 45001 certified. Safety governs the method statement before it governs the schedule.
- Quality
- ISO 9001 certified systems across pipeline construction, integrity, corrosion control and commissioning.
- Excellence & Expertise
- COREN-licensed engineering, and crews who have executed the same scope across the Niger Delta for eighteen years.
What you get
Working here
- Certified systems to work inside
- ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certified management systems. The method statement is written before the schedule, not after it.
- Owned plant, not hired promises
- Cranes, sidebooms, swamp buggies, welding booths and pumping spreads maintained by our own crews at the Km 17 yard.
- Professional registration supported
- COREN-licensed engineering practice, NSE firm membership and ISPON affiliation. Progression towards your own registration is backed.
- Technical breadth
- Intelligent pigging, long-range ultrasonics, cathodic protection, trenchless crossings and facility operations — across one employer.
- Statutory cover in place
- NSITF employee compensation and Industrial Training Fund contributions are registered and current.
- A record you can take with you
- Projects are documented with their scope, standards and outcome. The work you do here is evidenced, not just remembered.
