Who we are
MJD Oilfield Services Limited is a company incorporated in Nigeria, with its corporate office in Port Harcourt, Rivers State. We are the data controller for personal information collected through mjdgroup.ng.
What we collect
We collect only what you send us. Through the enquiry form that is your name, organisation, email address, telephone number and the details of your enquiry. Through the careers form it additionally includes your curriculum vitae and any covering note you provide.
We also collect anonymous usage statistics through Google Analytics, such as which pages are visited and roughly where visitors are located. This data is not used to identify individuals.
How we use it
Enquiry details are used to respond to your enquiry and, where relevant, to prepare a quotation. Application details are used to assess your suitability for the role you applied for and to contact you about it.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for marketing purposes.
How long we keep it
Enquiry correspondence is retained for as long as needed to serve the commercial relationship and to meet our record-keeping obligations. Unsuccessful job applications are retained for twelve months so that we can consider you for future roles, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
Your rights
Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act you may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it is wrong, or ask us to delete it. Write to [email protected] and we will respond within thirty days.
Security
This website is served over HTTPS. Form submissions are transmitted to our email systems and are not stored in a public-facing database. Access to the content management system is restricted to authorised MJD personnel.
